India-China Talks Yield 8-Point Consensus; New Military Hotlines, Border Talks On The Table
India and China have reached an eight-point consensus after the 25th round of Special Representatives’ talks in Beijing between NSA Ajit Doval and Wang Yi. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to peace along the border and agreed to advance boundary negotiations. Two additional military meeting points and two new hotline channels were agreed for the Eastern and Middle Sectors. India also welcomed more Kailash Mansarovar Yatra batches and the reopening of three border trading points.
