Jaish Rebuilds Bahawalpur Complex Struck By India During Op Sindoor
Restoration work has reportedly been completed at the Markaz Subhanallah facility in Bahawalpur, described as the primary base of the UN-sanctioned terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). The compound was severely damaged during India’s Operation Sindoor retaliatory strikes, but fresh footage reportedly shows reconstructed domes, new plaster, paint and marble flooring covering earlier blast damage. Reports also say deep blast zones in the main hall were filled with concrete, while damaged satellite buildings, including the Al-Sabir seminary and leadership housing, were demolished for reconstruction. Intelligence inputs cited in the report allege Pakistani authorities provided 250 million PKR to JeM, including about 110 million PKR for restoration. With Masood Azhar reportedly incapacitated, his brothers are said to have taken over day-to-day operations.
