'Justice Must Be Served': Ladakh Marks One Year Since Deadly Leh Violence | Watch

Sonam Wangchuk has demanded the release of the judicial inquiry report into the deadly September 24, 2025 violence in Leh, saying justice must be served to Ladakh and the four people killed. Speaking at a first-anniversary rally, Wangchuk alleged that the truth remains suppressed and warned of a “People’s Tribunal” if the report is not made public. Leh observed a complete shutdown on Shaheed Diwas. The violence followed protests demanding statehood and constitutional safeguards, including Sixth Schedule inclusion.
