Kolkata Man Arrested For Sending ‘Al Qaeda’ Suicide Bomb Threat Email Against Suvendu Adhikari

A 27-year-old man from Kolkata’s Garden Reach area has been arrested for allegedly sending an email threatening a suicide bomb attack on West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari with the help of Al Qaeda. Kolkata Police say the accused used sophisticated digital methods and a woman’s identity while sending the email. Investigators are also probing similar emails allegedly sent to government institutions.
