The NIA chargesheet in the Red Fort blast case details the movements, planning and evidence linked to bomber Umar-un-Nabi. On November 10, Umar allegedly first tried to park the explosive-laden i20 near Lal Mandir in Chandni Chowk, but heavy traffic and police presence led him to turn back. CCTV captured the attempt at 6:37 pm, before the blast near Red Fort Gate No. 4 at 6:50 pm. The explosion killed 11 people and injured 29. The chargesheet also details forensic evidence, including a remote command mechanism fitted in one of Umar’s shoes and a metal piece testing positive for TATP, potassium and ammonium nitrate. The NIA also cited digital material, witness accounts, the ‘Lone Mujahid Pocket Book’ and Umar’s movements before the attack.
