‘MODI’S FAILURES VEILED’: Pawan Khera Targets Centre As BRICS Summit Sparks Political Row

The BRICS Summit in New Delhi has triggered a political row after Congress MP Pawan Khera accused the Centre of using curtains and barricades to screen slum clusters and low-income neighbourhoods from visiting foreign dignitaries. Khera alleged the government was hiding poverty instead of addressing it. Meanwhile, Congress MP Manish Tewari said the existing global order has collapsed and urged greater engagement through BRICS, ASEAN, Quad and SCO. India is hosting the 18th BRICS Summit on September 12-13 under the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.”
