Nepal Flood Crisis: 8,900 Army Personnel Deployed As Search For Missing People Continues

Nepal's devastating flash floods have triggered a massive search-and-rescue operation across the Himalayan border region. A thermal drone searched the Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project tunnel after 93 people were reported missing, but rescuers found no survivors or bodies. Meanwhile, a young girl was rescued alive after spending three days trapped under rubble. The Nepal Army says 109 people, including a German national, have been rescued using aerial assets. Around 8,900 personnel are deployed across affected areas, while emergency centres in Trishuli and Dhunche continue providing medical assistance.
