‘OIC Once Again Misused By Pakistan’: India Rejects ‘Malicious’ Remarks On Jammu & Kashmir

India’s Ministry of External Affairs has strongly rejected anti-India references in resolutions adopted at the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Baghdad on October 17–18, 2026, calling them malicious, biased and false, and alleging they were orchestrated by Pakistan. The MEA accused the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation of being misused to promote Pakistan’s agenda and reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of India. It also highlighted development in Jammu and Kashmir while accusing Pakistan of repression in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir and supporting cross-border terrorism.
