On CCTV: BMW Loses Control On Mumbai Coastal Road, Falls From Bridge; 3 Dead, 1 injured

A speeding BMW crashed through the edge of Mumbai’s Coastal Road and fell into an under-construction parking site early on Sunday. The accident took place around 5:20 am as the car was travelling from Marine Drive towards Haji Ali. Police said the driver allegedly lost control near Lotus Jetty, opposite Lala Lajpatrai College. Three of the four occupants died, while one sustained critical injuries. The deceased were identified as 21-year-old Sanay Gujar, 19-year-old Aditya Jakasniya and a 17-year-old minor. The driver was Sanay Gujar. The injured passenger was 20-year-old Onmy Aditya Oswal. All four were from Ahmedabad and were students of NMIMS College in Juhu. They had gone to Marine Drive and were returning when the accident occurred.
