‘Open Emergency In Delhi’: CJP’s Saurav Das Slams Security Curbs, Metro & Train Disruptions
CJP Co-Convenor Saurav Das has criticised the security restrictions imposed across Delhi amid the party’s protest movement. Das claimed that between 30,000 and 40,000 security personnel had been brought into the capital and questioned restrictions affecting metro services, trains and shops.He alleged that the measures were inconveniencing ordinary citizens and creating a negative atmosphere around protesters. Das went further, describing the situation as resembling an “open emergency” and drawing a comparison with conditions during the Emergency of 1975.
