‘Party Of Jokers’: BJP Slams Congress Over PM Modi’s Mimicry At Rahul Gandhi’s Indore Event
The Bharatiya Janata Party criticised the Congress after comedian Pulkit Mani mimicked Prime Minister Narendra Modi while sharing the stage with Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi at the “Chhatron Ki Goonj” event in Indore. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju accused the Congress of becoming a “party of comedians and jokers” in a post on X. Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi also targeted Rahul Gandhi, alleging “moral bankruptcy” and accusing the Congress of using a student interaction to mock and insult the Prime Minister’s late mother. The remarks came after Mani’s performance during the student-focused programme, where Rahul Gandhi also criticised the government over paper leaks and other student grievances.
