PM Modi’s ‘Global Welfare’ Message Ahead Of BRICS Summit, Bilaterals With Putin & Xi Jinping

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that the upcoming BRICS summit in Delhi will see positive and meaningful discussions focused on global well-being. World leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, are expected to attend the two-day summit at Bharat Mandapam. Other key participants include leaders from Iran, South Africa, Egypt and the UAE, along with UN chief Antonio Guterres and WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Delhi has been placed on high alert, with around 15,000 police personnel, 200 paramilitary companies and over 500 CCTV cameras deployed. Traffic restrictions, diversions and temporary stoppages will be imposed during VVIP movements, while authorities aim to minimise inconvenience to commuters.
