Rahul Gandhi Invites People For Ramlila Maidan March, Delhi Police Say No Permission Sought

Rahul Gandhi has invited political leaders, journalists, civil society members and citizens to join the INDIA bloc's march from Connaught Place to Ramlila Maidan on November 1. The announcement comes ahead of the opposition's mega rally against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Meanwhile, Delhi Police sources say no permission was sought for the proposed march from Connaught Place. Security arrangements have been stepped up at Ramlila Maidan, with police personnel and paramilitary forces set to be deployed. Rahul Gandhi has also alleged that people travelling to Delhi for the rally are being stopped.
