Rahul Gandhi Urges INDIA Bloc Rallygoers To Shop In Delhi Amid Traders’ Business Concerns

Rahul Gandhi has urged people travelling to Delhi for the INDIA bloc’s Ramlila Maidan rally to support local traders by shopping at their stores during the festive season. His appeal came after traders’ associations opposed the rally, warning that nearly 10 lakh participants and up to 20,000 vehicles could disrupt business in the capital’s key markets. Traders say the Dhanteras-to-Diwali period accounts for nearly ₹25,000 crore in business. Rahul Gandhi, however, accused the BJP of spreading rumours and said protest and shopping could go hand in hand.
