Revanth Reddy’s US Trip Cancelled After MEA Denies Clearance, Telangana Delegation Goes Ahead

Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy’s planned US visit has been cancelled after the Ministry of External Affairs denied political clearance. Reddy, who is leading the ‘Telangana Rising’ delegation, will return from London while his team continues the US tour and pursues MoUs with Harvard, MIT, Northeastern University and Virginia Tech. Reddy says the mission is to bring the world’s best universities to Telangana and transform Hyderabad into a global knowledge hub. He also stressed that youth, development and nation-building must remain above politics as questions emerge over the Centre’s decision. Watch
