“Terror, Theatrics Won’t Repay Loans”: India Hits Back At Pakistan At UNHRC

India hit back at Pakistan at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, with diplomat Kshitij Tyagi calling on Islamabad to vacate the parts of Jammu and Kashmir under its control. Tyagi also raised allegations concerning the treatment of Hindu, Sikh and Christian minorities in Pakistan and cited concerns involving Shias, Ahmadiyyas, Ismailis and Hazaras. He further criticised Pakistan over its economic situation, saying the country should focus on development rather than territorial claims or what he described as exporting terror. The exchange came during continuing India-Pakistan arguments over Kashmir and human rights.
