'Thappad Maar Diya': Delhi Deputy CM Parvesh Verma Slaps Man During Road Inspection; AAP Hits Out

Delhi PWD Minister Parvesh Verma was seen in a video appearing to slap a young man during a road inspection in Tilak Nagar on Sunday. The footage, shared by AAP leaders, shows Verma pulling down the man’s mobile phone before appearing to slap him. The young man, identified as Saheb, alleged that he was recording the inspection after being called by the PWD department and had pointed out damage to the road surface. He alleged that Verma raised his hand against him and that associates threatened him. AAP MLA Jarnail Singh, who was present during the inspection, also accused Verma of assaulting the man recording the proceedings. Singh alleged that police were present and said an FIR had been lodged. Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal shared the video and demanded Verma’s arrest.
