TMC Alleges ‘Vote Chori’ In Bengal Polls, BJP Says TMC Must Introspect Over Defeat

TMC MP Dola Sen has alleged irregularities in the West Bengal elections, claiming the party is conducting a fact-finding exercise into alleged “vote chori” and questioning why several EVMs reportedly retained over 90% charge after polling. Sen also raised concerns over the denial of a recount and said the matter has been taken to the Supreme Court. Responding to the allegations, BJP leader Prakash Reddy said the TMC should introspect over its defeat and examine public dissatisfaction with Mamata Banerjee-led governance instead of blaming EVMs. He claimed voters had rejected the party’s policies and warned that the TMC could face a bigger defeat if it failed to change its approach.
