Tripura Youth Viral Video: Rijiju Vows Action; Amir Shokeen Apologises Over ‘Chinese’ Remark

A viral video allegedly showing racial harassment and inappropriate touching of a tribal youth from Tripura in Delhi has triggered widespread outrage. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has warned of action against social media influencer Amir Shokeen, while the Tripura Students’ Forum Delhi has filed a complaint seeking an FIR and an urgent investigation. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has also directed the state police to coordinate with Delhi Police. Shokeen issued an apology after the clip went viral.
