Union Minister Chirag Paswan Gets Death Threat From ‘Terrorists’, Office Seeks Enhanced Security

Union Minister Chirag Paswan, who is under Z-category security, has received a threatening communication claiming that he would be killed by “hardcore terrorists”, according to his office. An unsigned communication containing two mobile numbers was received by the ministry on Tuesday. Paswan’s Additional Private Secretary Alok Kumar Singh informed Home Secretary Govind Mohan about the direct threat and raised serious concerns over the minister’s safety. His office has sought enhanced security and requested a thorough investigation by the Home Ministry to identify the source and assess the seriousness of the threat.
