Tamil Nadu Assembly witnessed a sharp political flashpoint after Forest Minister R V Ranjith Kumar referred to former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi without customary honorifics. The remark triggered immediate protests from DMK members, led by former minister K K S R Ramachandran.
