‘Will Uproot Them’: Suvendu Targets ‘Kashmir Azadi’, ‘Red Salute’ Slogans At Jadavpur University

BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari led a three-kilometre saffron procession from Kolkata’s 8B bus stand to Jadavpur University, joined by monks, Naga Sadhus and BJP workers. Adhikari vowed to “uproot” forces raising “Kashmir Mange Azadi” and “red salute” slogans, while announcing plans to return with Gita and Hanuman Chalisa recitations. The mobilisation comes amid escalating clashes, graffiti and slogan wars between Left-wing student groups and ABVP at Jadavpur University. It also follows a recent full “Vande Mataram” event attended by around 10,000 people outside the campus.
