During a press conference in Kaushambi today, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes on the auspicious occasion of Diwali to the people of the country and the state—including the residents of Prayagraj and Kaushambi—as well as to Indians living abroad. He prayed to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi for happiness, prosperity, good health, and well-being in everyone’s life.

Shri Maurya also conveyed his warm wishes to senior BJP leader and Bharat Ratna recipient, Shri Lal Krishna Advani, on his birthday, wishing him a long and healthy life. He remarked that Shri Advani’s sacrifices, penance, and dedication to the organization have provided a strong foundation for the Bharatiya Janata Party. His guidance and blessings will continue to inspire party workers. With his blessings, the BJP will form governments in other states across the country as well.

Commending the grand and magnificent 'Deepotsav' (festival of lights) celebrations held at the Maharishi Bharadwaj Ashram and Shringverpur Dham in Prayagraj, the Deputy Chief Minister noted that this three-day event beautifully showcased religious faith, cultural heritage, and historical episodes associated with Lord Shri Ram. After his victory in Lanka and before returning to Ayodhya, Lord Shri Ram had visited the ashram of Maharishi Bharadwaj, and subsequently traveled to Shringverpur to meet his dear friend, Nishadraj.

Organizing a 'Deepotsav' at these sacred sites is a commendable and proud initiative. Praising everyone involved in the event, he expressed confidence that future celebrations would be even grander and more magnificent.
