Assam eyes Japanese investment, JETRO delegation explores partnerships in semiconductors, tea, and tourism

Guwahati: Assam chief secretary Ravi Kota met a delegation from the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and discussions focused on deepening Japan–Assam economic engagement and creating stronger pathways for Japanese investment and business partnerships in the State.

Kota stated in X, “Met with a delegation from the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), led by Toshiaki Sato, Deputy Director, along with Haruka Maruyama, Senior Director, and Sandeep Kumar Singh, Assistant Director, JETRO New Delhi.
