The Mudassar Aziz directorial is the third movie in the Pati Patni Aur Woh franchise. And was expected to take a good start at the box office but that didn’t happen.
The movie’s trailer wasn’t received well and that led to a dull start at the box office.
The movie has collected Rs 3-4 crore on day one which is almost half of what the previous movie Pati Patni Aur Woh made in 2019.
The earlier film had opened to Rs 9.10 crore seven years ago.

Itreleased in 1978 and starred Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta. The comedy drama became a massive box office hit and was the ninth biggest grossing movie of the year.
41 years post that, filmmaker Mudassar Aziz revived the franchise with a reboot starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday.
