Bengaluru: Clash erupts during Eid Milad procession; 6 arrested, 3 cases registered
Bengaluru: Three cases had been registered and six people arrested in connection with a clash during an Eid Milad procession in Basavanagudi here on Wednesday, the police said.
The incident occurred on KR road after a procession from Kumaraswamy Layout crossed the Banashankari police limits and entered Basavanagudi.
"Punith Kerehalli of the Rashtra Rakshana Pade and others came there holding saffron flags and raising slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram'," police said in a statement on Thursday.
