Sitapur, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of service is the driving force behind the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Youth Wing's "Seva Sankalp Yatra." During a press conference in Sitapur, state president Rohit Mishra emphasized that this extensive 40,000-kilometer journey from Vadnagar to Kashi and back is purely about serving the community, not about the upcoming assembly elections.

Mishra pointed out that the journey, which includes significant stops in 50 districts across Uttar Pradesh, is focused on service activities. He remarked that while the route may pass through various assembly constituencies, the intention is not political. "We are not contesting elections through this initiative. Our only goal is to serve," he stated. The journey features two routes: one from Vadnagar to Kashi and another returning. Currently, five groups have already completed their paths in Uttar Pradesh, with others still traveling through states like Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
Participants plan to perform rituals at sacred sites along the way, including offering water from ten major rivers at the Baba Vishwanath temple. Mishra expressed pride in the service efforts undertaken by the Youth Wing, highlighting their commitment to community welfare inspired by Modi's 25 years of dedicated service to the nation. He believes that young people participating in this journey are embodying the spirit of service. When asked about recent changes within the Congress party, Mishra dismissed their significance, stating that it is an internal matter for them to manage.
He added that the BJP Youth Wing would continue its focus on community service, undeterred by political developments. The service journey recently had its overnight stay in Sitapur, where local leaders welcomed participants. Mishra noted that he felt fortunate to be part of this initiative, which honors the legacy of 28,000 sages who have contributed to the region's heritage.
