However, in a recent interview, Ekta Kapoor made an interesting revelation about her personal life. She revealed that her parents were not at all happy with her decision.

Ekta wanted to create different content for the youth

In an interview with Usha Kakde, Ekta Kapoor revealed that when she decided to launch the ALTT app, there was a lot of debate at home. Her parents didn't want her to launch such a platform, as she had a strong and respected image in the industry. Ekta has also received the Padma Shri award, so the family felt that an app with bold content would tarnish her image. However, Ekta believed that she had created family-oriented and traditional stories for a long time, so she now wanted to create different content for the youth.
