Gogglebox original star shocks fans with new look after jaw-dropping 7st weight loss

A cherished Gogglebox favourite has been praised by her loyal legion of fans after displaying her remarkable weight loss.
Amy Tapper appeared on the Channel 4 programme for its inaugural series way back in 2013, alongside her family: father Jonathan, mother Nikki and elder brother Josh.
The Tapper household quickly became a hit with viewers thanks to their witty observations, consistently entertaining audiences with their humorous commentary.

However, the family departed the programme shortly after Josh left Gogglebox in 2017 to pursue a career in politics. Then followed Amy's exit in 2018 to feature on hit dating show Celebs Go Dating.
Following her departure from Gogglebox, Amy has embarked on a significant weight loss journey, regularly updating followers on her progress, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The television personality has successfully shed an impressive seven stone, going from a size 26 to 18 in merely two months. This week, Amy posted a striking photograph of herself enjoying an evening out on her Instagram account.
Appearing noticeably slimmer, Amy wore a lace white blouse paired with black trousers. Her caption read: "Thank god I got the Bathroom memo."

Supporters quickly flooded the comments with praise. One follower wrote: "Looking so well." Another commented: "Wow Amy you look amazing." A third person added: "You look brilliant, well done to you."
This follows Amy's revelation about her weight loss method. Speaking to The Sun, she disclosed she received assistance from Mounjaro, explaining she "felt there was nothing else I could do".
Amy shared: "I'm fitting into size 18 clothes for the first time since I was 15 or 16 – it's hard for me to believe. It's changed my life. I went to the theatre the other night and when I sat down, my thighs weren't touching the person next to me, or the sides of the chairs. I had room."
However, Amy pointed out: "I get annoyed though that some people call it the 'lazy way out'. I don't want people to think that I've sat around for the last 17 years of my life not trying to lose weight.
"I want people to know that this has been my only option to get this far."
Gogglebox airs Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
