Following his directives, the district collector visited the hospital to inspect the ultrasound room and surrounding areas. During the visit, the collector interacted with patients and healthcare staff to evaluate the existing arrangements. In response to the concerns raised, the administration has implemented a daily duty roster for doctors conducting ultrasound exams. This move aims to guarantee the regular availability of medical professionals and to prevent unnecessary delays for patients.
Improvements have also been made to the waiting area for those awaiting ultrasound services. Additional seating has been provided to ensure that pregnant women and other patients do not have to sit on the floor. Furthermore, the administration has arranged for shade and drinking water, along with other basic amenities, for patients arriving at the hospital. In a statement to the press, Scindia emphasized that negligence in health services will not be tolerated.
He stressed the importance of providing accessible, timely, and respectful medical care to patients. Special attention should be given to women and the general public while delivering services in government hospitals, he noted. The district administration has been instructed to ensure full compliance with the doctors' duty roster and to monitor ultrasound services closely to prevent any inconvenience to patients. The administration must also address any shortcomings in the facilities available to patients and maintain basic amenities within the hospital.
