IIM Ahmedabad wraps up cluster 1, 2 of final placements
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad wrapped up the first and second clusters of its final placement process, with Boston Consulting Group emerging as the largest recruiter in the management consulting cohort while Bharti Airtel was the leading recruiter in the consumer services cohort.
The second cluster of the final placement process for the PGP Class of 2026 was held on Friday, where participating firms were organised into six cohorts--advertising and media; conglomerates; consumer goods; consumer services; pharmaceuticals and health care; and retail B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer).

“The consumer goods cohort featured marquee recruiters such as Hindustan Unilever and Procter & Gamble, with Berger Paints participating for the first time,” the institute said in a statement.
Conglomerates including Aditya Birla Group, Reliance Group, Tata Group, Godrej and Murugappa Group were also among the recruiters.
“Essar Group extended the highest number of offers in this cohort,” said IIM Ahmedabad.
The pharmaceuticals and healthcare cohort saw recruiters such as Bharat Serums and Sun Pharma, with Leeford Healthcare joining for the first time, according to the institute.
“The retail B2B & B2C cohort witnessed increased participation, with new recruiters Dot & Key and Nykaa joining Amazon and Flipkart,” it said
Students also received overseas offers from firms such as DAMAC (Dubai) and Fast Retailing (Tokyo), with 29 firms visiting as part of the placement process.

In the management consulting cohort, other recruiters such as Alvarez & Marsal, Bain & Company, Kearney and McKinsey & Company also made offers.
The major recruiters in the advisory consulting cohort were EY-Parthenon (15 offers) and Deloitte USI (12), according to the IIM.
