They have their fourth kid on the way. But that is not preventing Jen Affleck from ending her marriage to Zac Affleck. According to a TMZ report, Jen had filed for divorce and also submitted a parenting plan. The duo met on the Mormon dating app Mutual in 2018 and married in 2019. They have three kids – Nora, Lucas, and Penelope and are now expecting their fourth.

Jen and Zac's marital struggles were documented on Hulu's reality series, with the couple revealing that they began filming during a difficult phase in their relationship. Jen later credited therapy with helping them resolve their differences and strengthen their marriage. She will next appear in the upcoming spinoff, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, premiering November 12, following her move from Utah to Southern California.

What Caused Their Divorce?
Although the couple has not publicly disclosed what caused their marriage to crumble, according to Hollywood Life, the couple has been at loggerheads due to Zac’s more traditional views on marriage and Jen’s career. In season 5 of Secret Lives, Jen claimed that Zac had threatened a divorce if she ever acted opposite another man in a film that depicted a romantic relationship. They also had differences over Zac’s gambling habits.

Jen had once told Vulture that she and Zac had been in couples therapy to save their marriage. “If we continue in our relationship, there are changes that need to be made. If they’re not made, we might have to … look at other options. But as of right now, I do think he’s trying his best to make those changes,” she said.
