Jio Prime Relaunched: Pay ₹300 and Lock Your Recharge Price Until 2027
Reliance Jio has relaunched its Jio Prime membership in India with a feature that could appeal to customers worried about future recharge price hikes. For a one-time fee of ₹300, eligible customers can lock the price of their existing Jio prepaid or postpaid plan until September 5, 2027.
This means that if Jio increases the price of its plans during this period, eligible Prime members can continue using their existing plan at the locked-in price.
Along with the price-lock facility, Jio Prime also comes with cashback vouchers, priority customer support and early access to selected new products and services.
Pay ₹300 and Lock Your Plan PriceJio Prime membership costs ₹300 as a one-time payment. Existing Jio prepaid and postpaid customers can opt for the membership, while customers using another telecom operator can also become eligible by porting their number to Jio.
Once enrolled, members can lock the price of their current Jio plan until September 5, 2027.
So, if Jio revises its prepaid or postpaid tariffs during this period, eligible Prime members can continue recharging or paying for their existing plan at the locked price, subject to the applicable terms.
