LPG tanker overturns in Thumbe

Bantwal: An LPG tanker carrying gas from Mangaluru to Bengaluru overturned after hitting a divider near Kadegoli in Thumbe on the Mangaluru–Bengaluru National Highway around midnight on Saturday.

The driver, Pappu Chauhan, was trapped inside the tanker cabin following the accident. However, he escaped without injuries.

Traffic on the highway was disrupted for some time due to the incident. The overturned tanker was later removed, allowing traffic to resume smoothly.
