"New partnership to support Indian skills": Colleges and Institutes Canada CEO at Canada-India Talent Strategy launch
Mumbai: Pari Johnston, President and CEO of Colleges and Institutes Canada, on Saturday, described the launch of the Canada-India Talent and Innovation Strategy as "a very promising first step" toward developing a new partnership with India's Ministry of Skills and Entrepreneurship.
Speaking to ANI, Johnston said the initiative will support the development of national skills centres, sharing Canadian expertise in applied education, training, and apprenticeships to advance the Indian skills plan in sectors such as critical minerals, artificial intelligence, and agri-food.
