NPPA updates list of reduced MRP of 1,085 anti-cancer drugs
New Delhi, Drug price regulator NPPA on Tuesday updated the revised maximum retail price list for 1,085 anti-cancer medicines of different brands, effective November 9.
The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) on October 28 revised downward the maximum retail price (MRP) of 543 anti-cancer medicines of different brands.
The total number of such drugs in the list currently stands at 1,085, according to a post on X by the NPPA.
The revised list reflects information submitted by pharmaceutical companies up to November 3, and will keep getting updated as and when manufacturers submit revised prices for non-scheduled anti-cancer drugs.
The price revision follows the NPPA's October 17 announcement enforcing trade margin rationalisation on 137 non-scheduled anti-cancer drugs.
