Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt To Refurbish 20 Schools; Ranveer Singh Pledges To Fund Education For 1,000 Girls

Ranveer Singh stepped out to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesh at Lalbaugcha Raja on Thursday night. The actor was dressed in a white kurta-pyjama and seemed to be in high spirits. After offering his prayers, the actor actually spoke to the media and talked about how great the year has been, what he hopes for ahead, while also revealing his pledge to help 1,000 girls with their education.

Reports also suggest that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have joined the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and extended support to refurbish 20 schools in India.

, revealed that he felt great to be at the pandal and also spoke about the year that’s gone by. He said, The past year has been filled with happiness for me and my family, thanks to Bappa’s blessings. I came here, had his darshan, and thanked him. I sought his blessings for the journey ahead.”

He then also spoke about his pledge and revealed, “I pledge to join the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and help 1,000 girls with their education. I hope this will please Bappa, and his blessings will always be with us.”

 Meanwhile, reports also suggest that Alia and Ranbir have also made a commitment to support a cause and refurbish 20 schools in India.

On the work front, Ranveer is still enjoying all the love and success after Dhurandhar films. He is now gearing up for Jay Mehta’s Pralay, and is also all set to welcome his second child with his wife, Deepika Padukone.

As for Ranbir and Alia, the two have loads lined up ahead, including Ramayana

for the former, which is scheduled for a Diwali release. The couple also has Love & War together, the release date of which is yet to be announced.
