Sequent-Viyash may soon have zero debt: Viyash founder and combined co's CEO-designate Hari Babu Bodepudi to inject ₹400 crore

Sequent Scientific and Viyash Life Sciences will have almost zero net debt after pharma executive turned entrepreneur Hari Babu Bodepudi injects fresh capital following their merger. He is the CEO-designate of the merged entity controlled by private equity firm Carlyle.

The merger of listed Sequent Scientific and privately-held Viyash Life Sciences became effective last week. The combined entity has a market capitalisation exceeding $1 billion.
