Traffic Diversion Advisory Issued Due to Sewer Work in New Ashok Nagar

New Delhi, October 7 (Daily Kiran) : In New Delhi, temporary traffic changes have been implemented due to sewer repair and construction work in front of East End Apartments, New Ashok Nagar. The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory urging the public and drivers to use alternative routes. To maintain smooth traffic flow during the construction, diversions have been established for vehicles heading to New Ashok Nagar from the Noida Sector-15 roundabout and Sarai Chowk.Drivers coming from Noida towards Delhi are advised to avoid this route and opt for alternatives instead. According to the advisory, vehicles can enter Delhi directly via the Chilla Border from the Noida Sector-15 roundabout. Additionally, routes through the Noida Mor, DND, Mayur Vihar Phase-3, or Kondli can also be used to reach Delhi. The Delhi Traffic Police encourages travelers to plan their journeys in advance, adhere to traffic rules, and cooperate with traffic personnel on duty.They have advised drivers to remain patient during construction, follow diversion signs, and heed directions from traffic officers to avoid congestion and ensure smooth traffic flow. Authorities have also recommended that people avoid unnecessary travel on affected routes and utilize alternative paths to ease their journeys. In a related update, the Delhi Jal Board announced on social media that water supply will be affected on October 7, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM due to work connecting the alum feeding line to the duplicate main line at the Wazirabad Water Treatment Plant.Residents are advised to use water judiciously and make prior arrangements.
