According to the Commission, 10,76,004 candidates applied for this exam, of which 4,54,589 appeared. Based on the preliminary exam results, the number of candidates selected for various posts is as follows:
Review Officer (RO): 6093 candidates selected for 338 posts
Assistant Review Officer (ARO): 1386 candidates successful for 79 posts
Assistant Review Officer (Accounting): 30 candidates selected for 2 posts
Successful candidates will now appear for the main exam. The Commission has clarified that only those candidates who have passed the prelims exam will be eligible to participate in the further process.
