Young Man Found Dead from Gunshot Wound in Jharkhands Palamu District
Palamu, October 6 (Daily Kiran) : A young man was found dead from a gunshot wound under suspicious circumstances in Tukbera village, located in the Nawabazar police jurisdiction of Palamu district, Jharkhand, on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Amarjeet Chauhan, also known as Chotu, son of Girja Chauhan. The incident occurred in a room of his home where he was reportedly alone at the time.
Police recovered a firearm from the scene and have initiated an investigation into the matter. According to family members, they heard a gunshot and rushed to the room, only to find Amarjeet injured. Despite attempts to rush him to the hospital, he was declared dead on arrival. Upon receiving the report, Nawabazar police station chief Sanjay Kumar Yadav arrived at the scene with a police team. They conducted an inspection of the area and gathered information from family and locals.The body has been sent to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital for a postmortem examination. Authorities confirmed that the bullet struck the young man's chest. They are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Investigators are considering all potential angles as they delve deeper into the case. The station chief noted that the situation appears suspicious at first glance. Whether this incident is a suicide or an accidental shooting will be clarified after a thorough investigation and the postmortem report are completed.Additionally, police are examining the victim's mobile phone, recent contacts, and activities leading up to the incident. Some locals have speculated that personal or romantic motives may be involved, but police have not yet verified these claims.
