Trump renames Lake Ontario 'Lake America'

Washington, Aug 28 (IANS) US President Donald Trump ordered the federal government to rename Lake Ontario as “Lake America”, citing its economic importance and what he described as the United States’ leading role in protecting the Great Lakes.

The executive order directs the US interior secretary to complete the renaming process within 30 days in coordination with the federal Board on Geographic Names.
