aespa Makes History with New Billboard Achievements.
aespa continues to break barriers in the music world with their latest release, Whiplash. The group has made history as the first K-pop girl group to land six consecutive albums in the top 50 of the Billboard 200. Their new mini-album debuted at No. 50 on the chart for the week ending November 9, following previous successes with Savage, Girls, MY WORLD, Drama, and Armageddon.
But that's not all. Whiplash also made waves on Billboard's global charts. The title track hit No. 5 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, marking aespa's first top-five entry, and reached No. 8 on the Global 200, making it their first song in the top 10. Additionally, Supernova continues to shine, staying strong at No. 96 in its 25th week on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.
On the World Albums chart, Whiplash climbed to No. 2, while also debuting at No. 9 on the Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, and Independent Albums charts—securing its spot as the ninth best-selling album of the week in the U.S.
aespa also re-entered the Billboard Artist 100 at No. 35, marking their 15th non-consecutive week on the chart. With each achievement, aespa proves they're more than just a K-pop sensation—they're a global force.
