Shefali Shah didn't win the International Emmy for Best Actress despite her outstanding performance in Delhi Crime. The award went to Karla Souza, a Mexican actor, for her role in Dive. The other nominees in the category included Connie Nielsen for the Danish project The Dreamer – Becoming Karen Blixen and Billie Piper from the UK for I Hate Suzie Too.
