Salman Khan Firing Case: Mumbai Police Detain 2 Accused Who Escaped After Firing at Actor's Residence

Two individuals have been apprehended by the Mumbai Crime Branch for purportedly firing shots outside Bollywood icon Salman Khan ’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, situated in Mumbai’s Bandra region on April 14. Confirming the arrest, the Mumbai Police stated that the suspects were detained in Bhuj, Gujarat, late Monday night.\

Officials informed news agency ANI that, “Both the accused, who fled Mumbai after the firing, have been arrested from Gujarat’s Bhuj.” The Mumbai crime branch arrested two individuals, identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, in connection with the firing incident near Salman Khan's residence. Sources indicate that police tracked down both suspects, who were on a motorcycle during the incident, to Bhuj district.

The two individuals, believed to be the perpetrators, reportedly rented a house for a month in the Panvel area of Navi Mumbai, where Salman Khan owns a farmhouse. They allegedly fired four rounds outside Salman's residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra around 5 am on Sunday before fleeing the scene.

On Monday afternoon, Salman Khan was photographed departing Galaxy Apartments for the first time since the firing incident. His white Nissan Patrol Bulletproof SUV was seen surrounded by multiple police vans.

Arbaaz also responded to the firing incident, expressing that the family has been "taken aback" by the shocking event. In a lengthy statement shared on his official Instagram handle, Arbaaz stated, “The recent incident of firing by two unidentified person on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment the residence of the Salim Khan family is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place.”

According to Bollywood paparazzo Viral Bhayani, the atmosphere around Galaxy Apartments remains "tense". Additionally, Salman's rumored girlfriend, Iulia Vantur, visited his family on Monday evening. Media reports suggest that Salman and Iulia have been together for several years.

Today, the Romanian actress-singer was seen departing Salman's building in her white Mercedes Benz during the evening. She discreetly avoided the paparazzi stationed outside the actor's Galaxy Apartment. For the low-key meeting, she wore a plain black top and styled her hair in loose waves.
