In response to the recent shooting incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan 's residence, security measures have been bolstered, with additional personnel deployed to ensure his safety. The move comes after two individuals, purportedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang , fired shots outside Galaxy Apartments in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Enhanced Security Measures Implemented
Previously, Khan enjoyed Y+ category security, which included two Personal Security Officers (PSOs), two commandos, two escort vehicles, and 11 accompanying police officers. In light of the recent events, three more officers and an additional PSO have been assigned to augment his security detail.

Furthermore, Khan has been advised to inform the Mumbai Police before leaving his residence and to remain vigilant regarding his surroundings.

Investigation Update
The Mumbai Police are actively investigating the incident, currently questioning individuals connected to the procurement of the motorcycle used in the crime. Authorities are scrutinizing the rationale behind the perpetrators' choice to purchase the vehicle in Panvel, despite the target being in Bandra.

Additionally, the Crime Branch has dispatched teams to Delhi, Bihar, and Jaipur to pursue leads in the case. It has been revealed that one of the suspects has a criminal record in Gurugram and Haryana, with alleged involvement in various felonies, including the murder of a businessman.

Suspected Perpetrators Identified
Sources within the Mumbai Police have pointed to the involvement of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the shooting incident. It is believed that Rohit Godara , an associate of Bishnoi operating in Rajasthan, orchestrated the attack. One of the accused, identified as Vishal aka Kalu, reportedly works for Godara.

Threats and Prior Incidents
Following the shooting, an individual claiming affiliation with the Bishnoi gang purportedly issued a warning to Khan through an online post, labeling the incident as a "trailer." This comes after previous threats directed at Khan, including an email received last year, resulting in the filing of an FIR against Lawrence Bishnoi and others.

As investigations continue, security remains paramount for Khan and the authorities are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring his safety.
