Vikrant Massey's ‘12th Fail’ Set to Hit Over 20,000 Screens Across China

Vikrant Massey's acclaimed drama " 12th Fail " is poised for release in China, much to the delight of both him and his co-star, Medha Shankr. In an interview with India Today, Vikrant expressed his excitement about the news. When asked about the possibility of traveling to China for promotional activities, Vikrant stated that it was too early to make a decision.
“It is too soon to talk about that, but I am really excited because, after a long time, something like this has happened,” Vikrant said.

Aamir Khan had made a prior trip to China to promote his film Dangal, which enjoyed significant success there. Similarly, his film 3 Idiots also found success in the country. Vikrant noted that the team behind 12th Fail had been diligently working on its release in China for some time. He further mentioned that the film is slated to be screened across more than 20,000 screens in China.

The 12th Fail actor said, “It has been in the works for a few months, but finally the news is out, and everyone knows that the film is releasing in China. There is a huge demand for Hindi cinema or Indian cinema in China. There are more than 20,000 screens [given to ‘12th Fail’]. China really caters to the entertainment sector and hence the numbers [of screens].”

"12th Fail" draws inspiration from the real-life journeys of IPS Officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS Officer Shraddha Joshi. On the professional front, Vikrant has an exciting lineup of projects ahead. His next venture is Director Ranjan Chandel’s thriller film, "The Sabarmati Report," which delves into the events of February 27, 2002, near the Godhra railway station in Gujarat involving the Sabarmati Express. The movie features Ridhi Dogra and Raashi Khanna alongside Vikrant.

The movie has not only wowed audiences but has also emerged as a shining example of success in the Indian film industry. Featuring Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankr, the film has recently marked its 25th successful week in theaters.
