Gujarat Titans have surged to the top of the IPL 2025 points table with a thrilling three-wicket win over Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. This crucial victory, their eighth of the season, pushes them to 16 points from 12 games with an impressive Net Run Rate (NRR) of +0.753 - putting them in prime position for a playoff spot.

Mumbai Indians, despite the loss, remain in fourth place with 14 points and the best NRR in the league at +1.156. Their playoff hopes are still alive, but the road ahead is getting tighter.

Just below GT, Royal Challengers Bengaluru continue to impress. With eight wins from 11 matches and an NRR of +0.482, they’ve carved out a solid path toward a top-two finish. Not far behind, Punjab Kings have quietly climbed the ladder with 15 points in 11 games and an NRR of +0.376, keeping them in the top-three mix.

Delhi Capitals sit fifth with 13 points from 11 matches. Their consistent performances and an NRR of +0.362 keep them in the hunt — though they’ll need strong finishes in their last few games to stay afloat.

Kolkata Knight Riders are on the edge in sixth, holding 11 points from 11 matches. With a decent NRR of +0.249, their playoff chances hang in the balance, depending on both form and fortune.

Lucknow Super Giants face a steeper climb. With 10 points and a worrying NRR of -0.469, they’ll need big wins and favorable outcomes in other matches to break into the top four.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s playoff dreams were washed away - quite literally - as a rain-hit match confirmed their exit. They sit eighth with just three wins and an NRR of -1.192.

Joining them on the sidelines are Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings. RR managed only three wins from 12 games, while CSK, enduring one of their worst seasons ever, are last with just two wins and an NRR of -1.117.
