BMW CE 04 Unveiled Globally With New Colours and Add-On Features

BMW Motorrad has refreshed its CE 04 electric scooter for the global market—but this time, it’s all about looks and features, not performance tweaks.

The updated CE 04 sticks to its core mechanical package, retaining the same 42 hp electric motor that delivers 62 Nm of torque and a top speed of 120 kmph. Its 8.9 kWh battery continues to offer a claimed range of 130 km. So, what’s new? Aesthetic upgrades and added convenience features.

New Colours, Same Power

The base model now comes dressed in a clean Lightwhite uni shade paired with a black-grey seat and a clear windshield. The Avantgarde variant goes bolder with a Gravity Blue metallic matt finish, contrasted by Sao Paulo yellow highlights. It also gets a yellow-tinted windshield and laser-engraved rear wheel trim, giving it a sportier edge.

If you’re into luxury, the Exclusive variant gets a premium Spacesilver metallic paint job and is built for extra comfort. It features a comfort seat with heating, hand guards, heated grips, and even ‘CE 04’ embroidery on the rear fairing.

Tech Boost

BMW has added a 10.25-inch TFT color display across all variants. This updated screen now integrates map navigation directly into the instrument cluster—no need for a separate GPS unit. Full-LED lighting continues to be standard, covering headlights, taillights, and indicators.

India Launch Pending

While the previous-gen CE 04 is already available in India at ₹15.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), there’s no official word yet on when the updated version will hit Indian roads.

So, while the CE 04 may not go faster or farther just yet, it definitely looks sharper and comes better equipped for everyday use.
