BYD Sealion 7 India Launch Date Confirmed: A Strong BMW iX1 Rival

BYD India is all set to introduce the highly anticipated Sealion 7 electric SUV to the Indian market, with the official launch scheduled for 17 February 2025. Positioned as a premium electric SUV, the Sealion 7 is set to compete with rivals like the BMW iX1. The vehicle, which was first showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility event, has already begun accepting bookings. Customers can book the EV online or through BYD dealerships for a refundable deposit of ₹70,000. To make the deal more enticing, BYD is offering a 7-year or 1.5 lakh km warranty, along with a free 7 kW home charger for the first 70 buyers. The brand will also match the booking amount, offering added value to early adopters.
